LIGHTHOUSE? OR POWERHOUSE?

LIGHTHOUSE? OR POWERHOUSE?

Picture perfect, prim, prime, pure and potent it stands tall
Lightening dazzling blazing rays'll be shooting from its eyeball
Boats are steered; ships are guided, notwithstanding big or small
The Lighthouse, nay Powerhouse, springs to action every nightfall
Stationed at shore, straight, soothing and shrewd is its shine
Every captain, criminal or crook, cruise carefree drinking wine,
As this lovely light, shining bright, kills all fright, glitters white,
Strong and tight, sans spite, brings’em back to shoreline

Blinding beams beckon boats, boast of being kings of coast
Wild wide whimsical wayward waters of sea raise a toast
Glistening gleaming gloss in it, glows as ghost to scare (the seas) utmost
Rough n tough seas, huff n puff, escort the ship to home almost

Oceans all, be Pacific vast or vibrant violent Atlantic
Grudge, grumble, rumble but stumble, go crazy get seasick
Numb, drone deep down, dip and duck, but fail to kick
Glaring gaze of SUN of night, monitored their every trick

Ocean monsters growl under; stay hushed when they come ashore
Caught in slimy, slithery, slush they slip and slurp it going sore
Up there, their tails are tucked, scared for life, they feel sopor
Oh ho!!! The Lighthouse, nay Powerhouse, was the veritable Dinosaur of yore
